4.5 superb
Bon Iver Bon Iver, Bon Iver
Bon Iver For Emma, Forever Ago
Coldplay Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends
Fleet Foxes Helplessness Blues
Muse Absolution
I don't believe in musical perfection, but goddamn does this album come close. There really isn't a single filler track in sight, and every song brings something new to the table, though each carries a part of that essence which infuses every one of muse's songs.

4.0 excellent
Boy and Bear Moonfire
Gotye Like Drawing Blood
Matt Corby Into The Flame
Mumford and Sons Babel
Muse Origin of Symmetry
The Middle East I Want That You Are Always Happy
The Middle East The Recordings of the Middle East
They Might Be Giants Lincoln

3.5 great
Bon Iver Blood Bank
Gotye Making Mirrors
Gotye Eyes Wide Open
Mumford and Sons Sigh No More
Muse Black Holes & Revelations
Of Monsters and Men My Head is an Animal
Excellent, energetic folk music, interesting lyrics and song interpretations, and superb use of dual male/female vocals. While some albums have only a few songs worth listening too, this album is practically full of these songs, so it deserves a 4.5.
The Shins Port of Morrow
The Shins Wincing the Night Away

3.0 good
Boy and Bear With Emperor Antarctica
Muse The Resistance
Aside from a few songs, nothing really carries the old muse vibe. That being said, however, the album has three saving graces: each of the "Exogenesis Symphonies" three scarily good symphonies that show all the potential muse could still have in the future. Til the 2nd law came along, of course.
The Head And The Heart The Head And The Heart
The Rubens The Rubens
They Might Be Giants Apollo 18

2.5 average
Coldplay Mylo Xyloto
Aside from a few good songs (Paradise, Charlie Brown, Every Teardrop is a Waterfall) this album is really just...meh. Especially after the stellar "Viva la Vida or Death and all his friends."
Gypsy and the Cat Gilgamesh
Muse The 2nd Law
