This album doesn't get the respect it deserves. This is a true masterpiece of IDM, and one of the best double albums I have ever heard. There isn't a dull moment, and tracks like Cock V10, Mount St. Michael, and Vordhosbn are absolutely brilliant.

M83 Dead Cities, Red Seas and Lost Ghosts
m83 may have "sold out". And although their newer releases have gained them the best part of their fanbase, their second album remains their magnum opus. Dead Cities is more polished then any sophomore effort ought to be. It may be a vain wish, but I wish that m83 would revisit their original style of music with the resources they now have at their disposal. However, I'm afraid it isn't meant to be. Anyways! Listen to this album. It is amazing!

This is the worst album of the year, hands down. It sounds like every other Deftones album, which is terrible. If you like Korn and Papa Roach, this is right up your alley.

The Black Dog Liber Dogma
this is probably one of the most boring albums of all time. Ken Downie isn't a musician. He's been excreting these cold, clinical albums for a dozen years and for some reason, I always listen to them, hoping that he can recapture just a little piece of the genius that the group was capable of in the early nineties. I wish Plaid could produce albums as quickly as the Black Dog does. I guess that's the difference though. Plaid spends time on their music and produce beautiful albums. The Black Dog churns out three or four albums a year and rarely even produce a successful track, much less an album. Just stick to Plaid.
Tycho Past is Prologue
This is a rehashed version of Tycho's first album. Because he was so lazy as to rerelease 80% of his original LP, I'm giving this a 1. He had two years to produce new material and failed to do so. Pathetic.
