"Tales from the Yeast Side was fucking brilliant. I was uncertain about Equals Hitler at
first, but after a couple of listens I saw it as something that was well-varied, and
entertaining to a very high degree... I think I like it more than TFTYS now.rAll the jokes
about their apparent superiority to everything in the world aside, they're so beyond
fantastic at experimenting and going where none would ever dare to trek, that I'm surprised
that not as many people know about them. Every time I listen to one of their albums, I get
more creative than a coal miner making up swear words; it's not the same kind of creative
that I get when I listen to Soundtracks for the Blind, but so far I've been realizing an
entire separate dimension to things.rAnyway, to maybe help spread this work that's more than
just notable, Equals Hitler is a 7.9/10. The poetry is included in almost every place where
it should be (to clarify, it is where it wouldn't normally be and it is what it wouldn't
normally be in those areas), but the writing of such poetry could very well be refined to
make an even more appealing work of art. Check it out; it's free, and currently, their only
releases are EPs, ranging from around 14 to 20 minutes in length. There are only two, and I
can guarantee you that at least one of them is worth your time, no matter who you are." |
