This album feels special. When I listen to it, I imagine the pleasant night air (Night), dark blue skies (Born to Run), and the countryside (Thunder Road).

Somehow managing to sound older than 'The Man-Machine', this is their most charming record. But 'Computer World 2' is an unnecessary compilation of sounds from the album.

It's like Coldplay's transition from 'Parachutes' to 'A Rush of Blood to the Head', if you'll excuse the comparison. The album is nearly as consistent as the two albums that preceded it, but their sound is just a little too big and tired on this album. 'Trouble Will Find Me' is an even bigger offender in this regard. The songs are great, but everything gets lost in the soaring music, making it quite drab.

Actually a lot better than people say it is. It's superior to Xscape and the songs suffer from
being 'just good enough', which can be as frustrating as an album full of weak tracks. 'Hold My

Billy Ocean Suddenly
This is an easy album to listen to. Billy Ocean's got a great voice, but that can't compensate for the filler that makes up half the album. I highly recommend 'Caribbean Queen' which is one of the best pop songs of the Eighties.
