Slow, slow motion dissonances slowly stop being dissonances and become their own world...consists of hours and hours of very short (Mount Eerie Clear MoonOlivier Messiaen L'ascensionOne of the most listenable Messiaen pieces, and a great example of his favorite Modes of Limited Transposition. He's almost like a modern group like Mt Eerie or Neil Young in that he uses melodic motifs in multiple different pieces.Oren Ambarchi In The Pendulum's EmbraceThis is great. It almost sounds like Earth mated with Jim O'Rourke's drone pieces. Not overly dark, but far from fluffy. And some of the best low-end sounds I've heard on an album in ages.
