5.0 classic
A Tribe Called Quest Midnight Marauders
Beastie Boys Paul's Boutique
Bob Dylan Bringing It All Back Home

This album is the greatest Daft Punk mix tape one could ever find.

Goodie Mob Soul Food
Gorod Leading Vision
With every song IMO being a classic song, Leading Vision is definitely both one of my favorite death metal albums of all time as well as one of my favorite albums of all time period.
Hieroglyphics 3rd Eye Vision
The playfulness, the hazy, desert-sun faded beats, the wandering, highly skilled flows of Hiero's
members, the
catchy-as-asshair hooks, there are countless reasons to spout off on how creative & listenable 3rd
Vision is. I don't even get high off of weed no more...
Jeff Buckley Live at Sin-é (Legacy Edition)
Jeff Buckley Grace
I'm incredibly grateful that my Dad chose to show me this album when I was as young as I was, maybe about 9 or 10 years old. Jeff Buckley's voice was legendary, and forever will be, anyone who speaks different is desperately trying to be that: different. You're not an asshole to praise Jeff Buckley, but you are if you disregard him or this album.
King Crimson In the Court of the Crimson King
Koji Kondo The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time OST
Kyuss Blues for the Red Sun
Led Zeppelin Led Zeppelin IV
Metallica ...And Justice for All
Metallica Master of Puppets
Miles Davis Kind of Blue

Oasis (What's the Story) Morning Glory?
One Be Lo S.O.N.O.G.R.A.M.
The ultimate manifesto of Nahshid Sulaiman, One Be Lo. Many of his other releases are mostly solid with times
of unfocus and undeveloped ideas that never leave you fully satisfied. Not this album. Songs of love, songs of
loss, songs of paranoia, songs of nostalgia, few interludes and many quality jams that make SONOGRAM
timeless. And if that wasn't enough, this album holds the best production Lo's ever had, up to and since. A true
underground hip-hop classic.
OutKast Aquemini
Pavement Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain

Pink Floyd Wish You Were Here
Pink Floyd Animals
Pink Floyd The Dark Side of the Moon
Public Enemy It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back
Public Enemy Fear of a Black Planet
Quasimoto The Unseen
Queens of the Stone Age Songs for the Deaf
Even if not EVERY song is a 5 star song, this album as a whole is definitely a 5-star album and is without a doubt a modern classic.
Raekwon Only Built 4 Cuban Linx...
Red Hot Chili Peppers Blood Sugar Sex Magik
Sergei Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto No. 2 in C minor, Op. 18

The Roots Things Fall Apart
The White Stripes De Stijl
Tom Waits Swordfishtrombones
Tom Waits Rain Dogs
Tool Lateralus
Unwound Leaves Turn Inside You
Ween Chocolate and Cheese
This album has such a classic feel to it. So much that songs like "Candi" & "Mister, Would You Please Help My Pony?" fit great beside songs like "Take Me Away" & "Voodoo Lady". Ween's experimentation pays off in spades here, both musically and comically.
Wu-Tang Clan Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)

4.5 superb
A Tribe Called Quest The Low End Theory
A Tribe Called Quest People's Instinctive Travels & The Paths of Rhythm
The production on this album is untouchable. It makes me want to start producing for a living. That mixed with the lyrical ideas of Q-Tip and Phife make this album one of the best hip-hop debuts in history and a hell of a classic.
Alice in Chains Dirt
Animal Collective Fall Be Kind
Animal Collective Strawberry Jam
Animal Collective Merriweather Post Pavilion
Animal Collective Feels
Animals As Leaders Animals as Leaders
At the Drive-In Relationship of Command
AZ Doe or Die
Bad Religion Generator
Bad Religion Against the Grain
Big Daddy Kane Long Live The Kane
Binary Star Masters of the Universe
Black Sheep A Wolf in Sheep's Clothing
Would've been an instant 5 if it weren't for Lawnge's repetitive long dick boasts. We get it. Give the mic back to Dres.
Blackalicious Blazing Arrow
Brainiac Bonsai Superstar
Brant Bjork Jalamanta
At first after getting into Kyuss, one might be sad that the band is no more. Then you look deeper and find not just plenty of great QoSTA albums, but countless great albums fronted by John Garcia & Brant Bjork as well. The spirit of Kyuss lives on through this and all those aforementioned albums, albeit a much more chill experience this go-round. Perfect summer night album.
Buck 65 Square
Anyone who likes hip-hop in the least should be able to appreciate this. The only thing that bugs
me about this album is that the vocals seem a tad low in the mix. This could've easily been
intentionally done, for the purpose of showcasing the music more than the lyrics. Although I don't
know why you'd do that for a lyricist like 65. Maybe the same reason you glitch out the last
minute or so of the album with audio clicks and CD scratches. Maybe cause you're just that
talented, Buck. Good one.

Death From Above You're a Woman, I'm a Machine
Innovative in it's technique and sound, but limited in the same vein. Listening to this whole album all at once can be rchallenging, but it's still catchy as asshair. Seriously, danceable as shit. And I don't dance. Ultimately, to me , it misses the highest mark due to it's own inventiveness.
Death Grips Exmilitary
Death Grips Bottomless Pit
Deep Puddle Dynamics The Taste of Rain...Why Kneel
Deerhunter Microcastle
Deftones Koi No Yokan
Another really great release for Deftones, but this album still doesn't hit the same classic mark that Diamond Eyes did 5 years ago.

This might just be the most solid set of Fu Manchu songs put to a single studio record.

Beastie Boys Check Your Head
This album is straight bananas. Seemingly a reaction to the legal shutdown on sampling at the end of the 80's ad the beginning of the 90's, them Boys showed the world they didn't need to ride of the backs of samples (and the Dust Brothers) to prove they were and will always be one of the greatest acts to ever do it. Reinvention, for the second time, done so well you can't really complain (unless youse a bitch).

The instrumentation is fantastic, unfortunately it doesn't go too far.. or far at all really. The whole album pretty much sounds like three different songs melded together, with some turd-tastic vocals to compliment the album's technical yet monotonous sound.

As entertaining as Kool Keith can be, uneven as Kool Keith can be, strange as Kool Keith can be, ridiculous as Kool Keith can be, while the beats are just as smoky and haunting as almost anything that Def Jux can offer. Just not enough, just as Kool Keith can sometimes be.

This album impressed me so much that I didn't have turn it off after the first few songs. I can't say that for the last few Korn albums I've heard. Even if this band isn't really my dig anymore, it's good to know that Korn's bottom was indeed Path of Totality, and that they've made a decent bounceback from that. Due to Head & Ray?? Probably.

In Flames Siren Charms
Just so painfully average. Between the all-too-similar sounding, generic riffs and the sub-par clean vocals by Anders, not to mention the overuse of synths and the draaaaaaaaaaab mood, fuck. Just one more notch on the steady decline of this once great band IMO. You fucked us In Flames. Again.

Staind 14 Shades of Grey
Stuck Mojo Rising
Lord Nelson's vocals on this album are the only thing really that save this album from being a really guilty pleasure for those who can stick through it. Even that being said, some of the lyrics on Rising are pretty cringe-worthy. The riffing on this album has such a wide range, going from completely chugging stock (FFDP-style) to halfway intriguing & interesting. One of the more polarizing albums I have listened to recently..

Taproot Welcome

Van Halen Van Halen III
Eddie's guitar work on this album is a great +. Unfortunately Gary Cherone's vocals and dragging song lengths drag this album back down to being average. VH3 is definitely not as bad as many let on. If you think this is that bad, try BrokeNCYDE out. You'll gain back perspective.
