| Don't get the love for this so far, there's a few standout tracks but the rest are pretty forgettable. What the fuck happened to "Nausea"? Used to be an emotional little guitar piece and now is some poppy piano fueled track devoid of feeling. Can't feel like the collaboration with Chris Farren brought this album to a little more of the Fake Problem side of things, which is a shame. It's just missing that Jeff charm that's so prevalent on pretty much all of his other releases. I was hyped for this, but a bit let down. First two tracks are great, Hall of Fame is pretty catchy too. |

| Aside from a few standout tracks, namely A Stillness, Hearts Like Ours, and Rolling Waves, this album meanders in boring electronic pop. Nowhere on this album are the instantly catchy hooks, the pounding synths, and the overall energy that made Passive Me, Aggressive You stand out above the rest. Without any of that, In Rolling Waves is merely an okay pop album with a few exceptional tracks. |
