4.5 superb
40 Below Summer Fire at Zero Gravity
After waiting 10 YEARS since their last "real" album I cannot explain in words how impressed I am with this album. It is EVERYTHING I love about 40BS. The rip your face off riffs, the beautiful melodic melodies and of course Max's vocals -- which are some of the most unique in metal today. These guys should be bigger than they are by far. If you like metal, you'll love this.

Hoobastank Fight or Flight
I'm a longtime fan of Hoobastank. Been with them since I first heard Crawling in the Dark.rThis is definitely a step in the right direction and a lot better than For(N)ever. That album was pretty forgettable.rThe songs are catchy as hell and little less rock than in previous albums.. which I like.rHad to chime in because I feel people are quick to crap all over Hoobastank just because of the type of band they are. No, they're not Led Zepplin but they never claim to be. rFight or Flight is a great album if you give it a chance.

All That Remains A War You Cannot Win
I lied. I'm just tired of people bashing bands for nearly no reason. It seems people like to be negative just to be negative. I wanted to bump the rating up even though I don't think it's a 5.. but my conscience got the best of me
All That Remains The Order of Things
Trust Company True Parallels

1.5 very poor
40 Below Summer Transmission Infrared
I LOVE LOVE LOVE 40 Below Summer. One of my FAVORITE and most original metal bands ever. I love Max's voice.. been with them since Side Show Freaks. I contributed to the crowdfunding campaign to help make this album. Having said that, I am severely disappointed. This CD FEELS and SOUNDS like a BURNED CD. Which it might be considering the state of the music industry today. These guys are just trying to get their music out there, I get it. But besides that, it's as if they forgot how to make the crushing, melodic, rhythmic type of songs that make them 40 BELOW SUMMER! Half of the CD sounds like Max is eating the microphone and there's just not much, if any melody, hooks or good riffs. I've listened to it 3 times hoping it would grow on me or maybe I was "missing" something... nope. It's as if they're trying too hard. I NEVER though I'd say this about a 40BS album because I've liked literally every song they've ever made but this is akin to MetallicA spitting out St. Anger (which is better than this unfortunately). I just don't get it and was hoping for so much more
