It feels like what Danger Days could have been with a little more feeling and less stupid
sound effects in the background. Kind of frustrating to me that they chose to go another
direction in the end, but I'm glad we got to hear them.

Boy Division: Catchy, full of energy and gritty guitars. The kind of song that really suits
Gerard's manic vocals.

Tomorrow's money: A grower, but again Gerard's awesomely obnoxious vocals mixed in with the
guitar and bass burrow their way into your brain.

I really can't wait for Number 2 and at the same time, I wonder what direction they'll be
taking for the new album.

Awesome!

Some of the lyrics are melodramatic trash, sure, but overall this is a solid pop record with catchy hooks, nice vocals and good beats. Would have benefited from some streamlining though, because it's a touch longer than it really needs to be.

Despite the dark subject matter, this is a surprisingly fun listen. The hooks are catchy rand the lead singer ain't too shabby in the vocal department either. But don't expect this ralbum to break any new ground lyrically or musically. I look at this band as a less rsubtle My Chemical Romance, or a The Used "lite", and that's not necessarily a bad thing. rFans of these bands will most likely find something to enjoy here. But anyone interested in rthis particular brand of alternative rock/pop punk, or those who like their post hardcore rwith a nice helping of pop should give this album a chance. rStand out tracks: Parade, Hate, Sarcasm

I love this band, but this is one one of the most flat, most boring albums I've heard in a while. There is a notable lack of energy and dynamism that just brings you down and sucks all the fun out of listening. I was just thinking that the lifeless, grey figure on the cover is the perfect visual representation of me after I finished listening to this the first time.

Jonny Craig A Dream Is A Question You Don't Know How To Answer
Jonny Craig could sing a proctology textbook & still sound smoother than a mother****er.
Unfortunately his amazing vocals can only distract from unimaginably dull music for so
long. There are a few gems here, like the sultry "I've been hearing that you're freaky",
but many of the rest of the songs on the album sound similar to each other, turning
listening into a chore.
Kelela Take Me Apart
An extremely well crafted album. Unfortunately, except for a couple of choice cuts, it's nothing but the same old electronic rnb drivel. Shame.
