Counting Crows Somewhere Under Wonderland
My favorite Counting Crows record since August & Everything After. My favorites so far are Palisades Park, Dislocation, God of Ocean Tides, John Appleseed's Lament, & Possibilty Days. All tracks are strong, and a couple a already classics. I recommend buying the CD for the awesome quality & the artwork inside is really cool

D'Angelo Black Messiah
A lot of people are talking about this album in terms of album of the year. I think it should be in the discussion for best albums of all time. Black Messiah, to me, is peers with the Red Hot Chili Peppers' Blood Sugar Sex Magik, Van Morrison's Astral Weeks, D'Angelo's Voodoo, Rolling Stones Exile on Mainstreet, A Tribe Called Quest's Low End Theory, The Clash's London Calling, Funkadelic's Maggot Brain, Marvin Gaye's What's Goin' On. It's enigmatic and strange, yet intricately layered and beautiful. Just my personal opinion, but this is one of my favorite albums of all time.

Earl might've just taken album of the year for me. Glitchy, lo-fi loops with ethereal, mind-bending flows and lyrics. Dilla would be proud. Stylistically, I can't really think of a parallel, but the closest example would probably be Danny Brown's Atrocity Exhibition. The short run-time of the album only serves to add to its addicting quality. I've had this on constant loop since it came out.

Great classic southern feel of Outkast, Goodie Mobb, & Scarface with some modern Kendrick influences. Impressive as hell, great listen front to back with a few minor issues (hook is a little too long on Mixed Messages). For a double album that sounds this great even those complaints feel nitpicky
