It isn't even remotely emo - you wanna categorize it? It's closer to the Black dahlia murder (melodic death metal) and between the buried and me (mixture of hardcore, grind, death metal) than anything else. And this is from hearing the album without seeing how emo the lead singer looks first. I dont see the problem with breakdowns....between the solos, the blastbeats, and the breakdowns, the music is constantly changing, constantly energetic, and fun as hell to just go out and mosh like crazy.
