Great production. Overwhelmingly dense and could do with being more spaced out and more dynamic. What disappoints me is that Haken seems to be finding it harder to recapture the catchy melodies of Visions/Mountain era - as great as some of the material sounds when I listen to it, I'm hard-pressed to remember what it sounded like afterwards.John Frusciante The EmpyreanJohn Frusciante Inside of EmptinessJohn Frusciante Niandra LaDes and Usually Just a T-ShirtJustin Timberlake FutureSex/LoveSoundsKaizers Orchestra Ompa Til Du DorKanye West Late RegistrationKanye West YeezusHe seems keen to move onto doing something new before he's perfected what he was already trying to do.Kanye West 808s and HeartbreakKanye West The Life of PabloIt has finally happened. The album is musically interesting and more ambitious than much of their previous work- and more than many others would have you think. Some tracks bore more quickly than others ('Boots', 'Magnificent', 'Stand up comedy') but overall I think this is a solid effort. Unknown Caller is an undeniably great song.U2 WarU2 Rattle and Hum3.0 goodBiffy Clyro Only RevolutionsChris Cornell ScreamThis album might be cringeworthy, and might not be terribly catchy, and might be radically different from what he's done before. But the amount of hate this album gets is unbelievable. Any fan of his previous work isn't going to approach this with open ears, thus the incredibly poor ratings. Not a masterpiece, but it isn't absolute garbage.Eminem RecoveryGreen Day 21st Century BreakdownJustin Timberlake The 20/20 Experience - 2 of 2Too many weak songs decorated with fancy production and extended for too long. This album has given us nothing to remember.Linkin Park Living ThingsGetting tired of the ultra-generic song structures of songs such as 'lost in the echo' and 'I'll be gone'. This thread of boredom first arose most noticeably in 'New Divide' and 'What I've Done'- disappointing to see it still prevalent in the work of a band with real potential to be original (A Thousand Suns at times demonstrated this).Metallica LoadOpeth Pale Communion
