Any good musician or band who continues to put out albums should experiment and look to tweak their style. Look at Brand New. From Your Favorite Weapon to Daisy their sound has grown into something amazing. Stop looking to the past and just take this album for what it is, a beautiful piece of work from a great band. Just be happy they are still putting out music. If you don't like it as much as their other albums keep it to your self and just go listen to the album you like.
