5.0 classic
Balance and Composure The Things We Think We're Missing
This album has resonated with me more and more as I get older. It?s an exceptional album.
Balance and Composure with you in spirit
Foxing Nearer My God
Interpol El Pintor

4.5 superb
Brand New The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me
The first half is a classic. Hard to finish an album after starting off with 4 songs that include some of their best work.
Car Bomb Meta
Chevelle Vena Sera
Listening again almost 10 years later and every song is extremely solid. There are some great songs that I jam today. 3.5 was too low for such consistency.
Chevelle Wonder What's Next
Chevelle NIRATIAS
Exotic Animal Petting Zoo Tree of Tongues
This was great! A perfect mix/blend of metalcore/progressive/rock and just pure awesomeness...
Gojira L'Enfant Sauvage
Starts off strong and right when you think it might get repetitive, they deliver with a heavy, yet unique 2nd half finish.
Gojira Les Enfants Sauvages
Interpol Our Love to Admire
Korn The Paradigm Shift
It really is their best since Untouchables, maybe FTL. I think the electronics are used really well in the guitar driven songs.
Korn The Serenity of Suffering
Mastodon Emperor of Sand
Night Verses From the Gallery of Sleep
Pearl Jam Touring Band 2000 DVD
Radiohead OK Computer
Radiohead A Moon Shaped Pool
A superb and carefully calculated album. It's beautiful, spacey, but Radiohead plays it safe. About two or three songs begged for Radiohead to just lose itself and explode into some instrumental masterpiece.
Rishloo Eidolon
Slice the Cake Odyssey to the West
Thrice Major/Minor
A new understanding and appreciation of the amazing lyrics on this record.
Thrice To Be Everywhere Is to Be Nowhere
Tool Lateralus
Trophy Scars Darkness, Oh Hell
They expanded upon that jazzy sound in Bad Luck and took this album to great, dark places. Lyrics are great and interesting, just wish the delivery was a bit better and more consistent.
Trophy Scars Holy Vacants

4.0 excellent
10 Years The Autumn Effect
A Perfect Circle Thirteenth Step
Alice in Chains Dirt
Ashes Divide Keep Telling Myself It's Alright
Amazing debut album. Maynard not needed. (sometimes preferred) Looking foward to another...
Balance and Composure Separation
Balance and Composure Light We Made
I really discovered this album again years later and it hits perfectly. It?s a great final album from them.
Black Sabbath Heaven And Hell
Brand New Science Fiction
Brand New Daisy
Bush Sixteen Stone
Very good album full of hits galore. Too bad it was downhill after this.
Chevelle The North Corridor
That first verse in Young Wicked is so dang infectious! I love it!! These guys can never seem to disappoint. Most riffs on here are simple, but get the job done.
Chevelle Hats Off to the Bull
Chevelle La Gárgola

Fallujah Dreamless
Fallujah The Flesh Prevails
Gojira The Way of All Flesh
Gojira Magma
It's obviously Gojira. This is just a really different Gojira. Where this album is filled with emotion, there's a lack of aggression. Still good, just different. I do see this album being one of fans least favorites from Gojira.
Gojira Fortitude
Guns N' Roses Appetite for Destruction
This album gave me an appetite for more GnR, amazing.
Highly Suspect Mister Asylum
If These Trees Could Talk The Bones of a Dying World

Katatonia The Great Cold Distance
Korn Follow the Leader
FOAL and this album got me into the heavy scene and more importantly into heavier music. But this album is gold.
Korn Korn
Korn Requiem
Marilyn Manson Holy Wood
Mastodon Crack the Skye
Mastodon Leviathan
Megadeth Rust In Peace
Meshuggah Koloss

Nine Inch Nails With Teeth

Novembre Ursa
Parabelle A Summit Borderline/A Drop Oceanic
Pearl Jam Ten
Pink Floyd The Wall
Radiohead In Rainbows
I don't know why this album never connected with me. Listened to it several times and always 3'd it. Finally gave it another spin and every song is good, most being great. Weird.
Radiohead Amnesiac
Radiohead Hail to the Thief
Rage Against the Machine Rage Against the Machine
Rage Against the Machine The Battle of Los Angeles

This record is a grower. Loved it more after several listens.

Trophy Scars Alphabet Alphabets
A different departure from the typical post hardcore sound. A bit messy at times, but overall it's a refreshing sound, especially the 2nd half of the album.
Trophy Scars Never Born, Never Dead
Brilliant and beautiful at certain moments and average at others. The lyrics are great, but sometimes it's just that raspy voice that gets to you...and not in a good way!

I'm a bit surprised by the 4.0 rating. This album didn't do much to distance itself from the genre. It sounds like many other bands. Bullet For My Valentine came to mind, and that was more than a decade ago. Some songs were solid, but overall it was just okay.
