| Behemoth had babies with The Black Dahlia Murder. A fucking ferocious blend of blackened death metal and deathcore. Heavy and technical as fuck. Unbelievably solid for a debut album from a band that's been around for so little time. Proves that you can't judge a band just because they're labelled as 'deathcore'. |

It's just jam-packed full of awesome tracks. You might not love like every single one of them, but you are
guaranteed to enjoy at least a handful! Stylistically it feels a lot more mature than their previous albums. It
feels more 'up to date' so to speak, and you can definitely hear the influences from genres like sludge metal,
thrash metal, hardcore punk, funk, and even some death metal influences. Some really well-written tracks
here, and I'm really glad that they managed to 1-up their previous album which is generally considered one of
the best Japanese rock/metal albums. Personal favourites are tracks 1, 3, 6, 9, and 13. |
