The lyrics are decent (Great on some songs, mediocre on others), but the way singer Alex Roy sings them it doesn't matter. The guitar parts are excellent, and overall he album is great.4.0 excellentSparks The Rescue Eyes to the SunYellowcard Still Standing3.0 goodAssemble the Skyline AssembleAssemble is a decent follow up to Right Here Right Now, the group's first album. However, it fails to live up to RHRN. The group took a new direction, a bit more rock and roll than the pop-punk feel the group used to have. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but many of the songs sound similar. Unlike RHRN, which had standout songs in 'Stop Right There' (Featuring a verse from Ryan Key of Yellowcard) and 'Nightmare' (Featuring a very unique verse where the two singers alternate syllables sung, creating a very sound), Assemble lacks a standout single. If I had to pick a favorite song, it would probably be 'Fireworks.' Even that, however, is nothing special. It's not bad, but yet it's fairly cookie-cutter. That is a theme that appears throughout the album. This album, although not bad, lacks anything unique or creative that will make it stand out from the crowd.rAlso, the vocals seemed to regress a bit from the last album. The singer (I don't know his name) shouts many lines, and he has a more rough sound than in RHRN. It sounds much worse this way.rOverall, this album is not bad, however, it is lackluster compared with their previous work.2.5 averageI Am the Avalanche Avalanche United
