Luca Turilli's Rhapsody Ascending to Infinity
This is slightly better than RoF's previous effort. More orchestrations and better guitar solos are the stronges marks on this album. Also some choirs are pretty good. Personally I've always considered Turilli as major and most talented member of Rhapsody, somehow a bit repetitious in his ideas nowadays.

3.5 great
A Perfect Circle Mer de Noms
Baroness Yellow And Green
Every colour is different to each other exactly like Baroness' albums are. This time we get
interesting mixture of clear, catchy tunes with some more blurred and sludgy guitar work,
but overall not so sharp and heavy like on previous records. Yellow side seems realy
excellent for me while on the green one I have experienced some kind of boredom sometimes.
Anyway I consider it as a really great record. Not red, neither blue. It's just yellow and
green and listeners probably will have to accept that.

Not as good as the latest release but still really enjoyable. Also underrated band, maybe because of lyrical content.
Torche Harmonicraft

3.0 good
Ayreon Into the Electric Castle
Gamma Ray To the Metal!
Helloween 7 Sinners
In Flames Soundtrack to Your Escape
Linkin Park Minutes to Midnight
Periphery Periphery (Instrumental)
Periphery Periphery II: This Time It's Personal
The most important thing is that improvement of vocals is really significant. Nonetheless still it isn't enough to make this band something extraordinary.
Poets of the Fall Twilight Theater
Rhapsody of Fire Legendary Tales
Symphony X Twilight in Olympus
Synthphonia Suprema The Future Ice-Age
Unisonic Unisonic
Nothing new or special in genre, but I rate it as 'good' because it's always 'good' when Kiske and Hansen play together.

2.5 average
Ayreon The Universal Migrator, Pts 1-2
Helloween Pink Bubbles Go Ape
Iced Earth The Crucible Of Man
I gave it 2.5 just for come what may song. How such masterpiece could exist on such uninspired record?
In Flames Lunar Strain
Meshuggah Koloss

2.0 poor
Periphery Periphery
