Tenacious D Rize of the Fenix
Great Album, I've now listened to it a fair few times and I absolutely love it. Much of this album has such good guitar work notably "Senorita" and "Deth Starr". A number of songs on this album remind me of Led Zepplin - IV and Iron Maiden style riffs and you cannot ignore Dave Grohl's brilliant Drumming.rIts an album that is quite good on the ears, more so to people who have not even heard of Tenacious D. For fans its massive progress since "Pick Of Destiny" its also more musically matured than the first album. My only annoyance with this album is that its not nearly as big as the other two, it only has 13 songs but some of them only peak at 3 minutes. Still the music is quite concentrated and distracts from this side of the album. The comedy is still brilliant, but you can't ignore how good JB and KG are as musicians.
