A Tribe Called Quest People's Instinctive Travels & The Paths of Rhythm |

Edvard Grieg Peer Gynt, Op. 23 |
...Pure beauty made music. I'm never fed up with hearing anyone one of the tracks. Feeric, but Human. Terrible, and Irresistible. tragic, funny too.rThe ultimate contradiction of romanticism, the only way to reach infinite horizon of body and soul. |

Magma Kobaïa |
Troubling. deconstruction of everything known before, in order to recreate something pure. That's the story
of Kobaia: a few persons in dire straits decide to leave Earth for a better world, Kobaia. Very symbolic. Magma
says fuck to pop and average music, to prefer something nobler and higher, completely new. Inside the vinyls
jacket, the lyrical summary says that by listening to the music, you can be able to follow the trip of the
spacemen. Mean expressive music. that's true. It's a trip from an ancient world to an other new one.
Something puzzling is the following point: It's seems that the melodies are already known when you hear it
for the first time(especially with Aina. Like if Magma didn't invent their songs: they found them, already being
here, somewhere, for the very beginning. Magma is a part of yourself, as much as you're a part of the world. |

Indeed, much more psychedelic. it's really great, a subtle mix of jazz and psychedelic sound. I knew Supertramp by hearing of Breafast in America, Crisis?..., Crime of the century, so I already had my opinion about them, a jazz/pop band. I may be disappointed if, 35-40 older, after discovering this fantastic first record, I heard to the others, quite toned down (save for the Breakfast In America, and the Quietest Moment, definitely my favorite) |

Denny l'occasion de lui trouver un charme nouveau; qu'elle chante en fran?ais ou en anglais on la comprend, c'est le langage du coeur qui ?mane de son chant)rBeautiful album, especially thanks to Sandy Denny, the most beautiful voice across the Channel. It's remind me of jefferson Airplane sometime, this alternate song between male/female voice (Grace Slick/Jack Cassady). |
Fairport Convention Full House |
We mis Sandy Denny's voice and Dave Swarbrick violin, omnipresent on Liege & Lief, even if Richard
Thompson's guitar is a quite large consolation, especially on Flatback Caper and the long Sloth. It's still a
great pleasure to hear a so pure folk celtic sound like Fairport Convention's music. |
