"To Carry You Away" is a classic in my heart; it's one of those songs that just touches me in the right way all the way through. "Your Troubles Will Cease And Fortune Will Smile Upon You" may be simple and to the point, but once again, ATB's execution is solid. "Promises Kept" is another great melodic song. There are great polyrhythms scattered all across the album; for example, the last riffs from "Bread Crumbs & White Stones" are pretty original and awesome. "Encased In Ice" is a brave and short song to end a short album on, bad ass in its own way (though I would have preferred a more epic ending song). There's no song I dislike on the album, because ATB is simply an amazing band with exceptional talent and writing prowess. The quality of their riffs and songwriting is high. This album is definitely more mature and melody-focused than Rareform. Rareform definitely comes off as more raw and brutal, though taking nothing away from In Dreams. ATB is a band that I'm glad exists, because I thoroughly enjoy their music. "Music to my ears."
