5.0 classic
Fair to Midland Arrows and Anchors
John Legend and the Roots Wake Up!
You guys are insane and clear know nothing of the Hip Hop and Soul genres. This album is stunning, Little Ghetto Boy, I Can't Write Left Handed, the conscious soul driven raps of Black Thought, the incredible vocals of John Legend and the almost satirical lyrics attacking mainstream tastes and cultural suicide. This is nothing less than 5 stars my friend, I bump this in rotation with Stairway To Heaven on a day to day basis. Damn, this is one hell of an album.

4.5 superb
Big K.R.I.T. Live From The Underground
Blu and Exile Below the Heavens
I'm gonna hesitate a little bit with the classic button (gonna have to keep that button dusty).
Children of Nova Impossible Landscape
Dead Letter Circus This Is The Warning
I love how these guys combine the modern alternative rock scene with a progressive sound that stays relevant to this era while seeming almost ahead of its time in some ways. I ran into these guys after bouncing with Karnivool's Sound Awake album and I must say, I dare anybody to put an album together like this. I'm keeping my eyes on these guys, they've latched themselves on to some pretty damn good music.
Honors English STATE OF THE ART
Given the Outkast and Kanye influences here, I'd say that Honors English and Needlz have given us an album that still maintains a unique sound and can be well ready to stand the test of time.
Jurojin The Living Measure Of Time
K. Sparks Super Senior
K. Sparks is one of the greater under looked talents of independent Hip Hop and Rap. Stream: http://www.djbooth.net/index/mixtapes/entry/k-sparks-super-senior/
K. Sparks Tomorrow Today
Killer Mike R.A.P. Music
I'm quite happy at the moment. I must say though with a sound structure like this, most guys in the mainstream gonna have it hard keeping up.
Phresh James Universal Lve Period
Riverside Anno Domini High Definition
This is a genre defining album in progressive rock, but a 5, I mean would you really say that it carries a stronger influence than their "Second Life Syndrome" LP?
Sinch Hive Mind
Soundgarden Down on the Upside
Thrice Vheissu
Zion I True & Livin'

4.0 excellent
32 Leaves Panoramic
Big K.R.I.T. 4Eva N A Day
Daughtry Daughtry
As a fan of progressive rock and many quality Hip Hop artists, I must say I'm quite dissapointed that just because an artist is maintstream, it automatically gains the title of wack or unoriginal. Some of the songs here really speak to the heart, and if this music was underground.....hmm would we see a reverse of the ratings. By no means am I calling this classic material, but by no means am I saying that it's not quality contemporary music either.
Luck-One and Dekk Beautiful Music: Part II
certainly one of the better albums I've heard in a while.
The Intersphere Hold On, Liberty!
I was just looking for some new independent talent while happening over these guys page. I must say, the album is certainly worth checking out, great sound reception on the speaker end.

3.0 good
Duality and the Republic Uno
There are certainly some dynamic punches with this album instrumental wise, but maybe it's just not my taste, I don't feel that the overall lyrics are really provoking anything original here.

2.5 average
British Theatre EP
I think you guys are allocating to much support to an album's whose sounds-cape really isn't all that great in the grand scheme of things. Yeah, it's got some solid tracks, but this is no 4.4 average my friends.
Linkin Park Living Things

2.0 poor
Lil B God's Father

1.5 very poor
Thousand Foot Krutch The End Is Where We Begin
