A Will Away Bliss
A Will Away Cold Weather
A Will Away Here Again
Encompassing multiple different sounds and styles from other bands in their category, A Will Away's first full length is a very solid addition to their growing discography. Songs like "Pay Raise", "Well-Adjusted", and closer "Something Special" break away from the sound this band has provided in their previous EPs. At 33 minutes, Here Again is filled with catchy melodies, memorable lyricism, and tons of emotion. After letting it sink in, this release is an early contender for AOTY.
Aaron West and The Roaring Twenties We Don't Have Each Other
The pure and raw emotion in this album is draining. Listening to this story of Dan Campbell's fictitious character, Aaron West, tugs on your heartstrings. You have empathy, just like reading a novel. The loss in this album, the turmoil and tragedy, is incredible. It is sung in such a way, that you wouldn't know that it was all created in Soupy's head. Never have I experienced emotion like this in an album. The reason I got in to this album was my best friend. Who listens to it every time we are in the car. I go back and forth between my feelings upon it. Whether it be to sing along, or to just sit, listen, and let the lyrics sink in. To think that all of the events that occur are possible, is heartbreaking. The loss of your father, or wife, or child. Real life events that are brought in to this album and exhaled in such an impeccable way.

Magic Man Before the Waves
Before the Waves is an enjoyable and energetic alt/electronic album. With fun and upbeat tracks around every turn, it's hard to not choose this album for a good summer jam. Caplow's voice matches each track's instrumentals perfectly. If given a chance, this has the potential to be a favorite for 2014. Definitely needs a few listens, but it will grow on you. Recommended tracks: Apollo, Paris, Catherine, Waves.

Walk the Moon Talking is Hard
A catchy, unique, and excellent release from Ohio's Walk The Moon. This album just keeps it coming, there are no breaks or dull moments to worry about. Songs like "Shut Up and Dance" or "Work This Body" keep the pace quick and poppy while songs like "Up 2 U" and "Spend Your $$$" show their roots and how much these guys love to use their bass. The closer "Aquaman" has a slight resemblance to Toto's "Africa", but it is beautifully produced and provides a perfect ending to an incredibly fun roller coaster. Highly recommended, for any fan of pop, alternative rock, or even electronic. Nick Petricca's uses his extreme vocal range tremendously on this album, more so than their previous LP.

State Champs Around the World and Back
Great follow up to "The Finer Things". State Champs craft yet another "pop-punk" gem sticking to what they do best. Lead vocals are incredibly solid as always, although this time adding a bit of ADTR influence. Catchy hooks and soaring guitars make this album another great addition to their discography. Top tracks: Secrets, Losing Myself, All You Are Is History, All Or Nothing, Breaking Ground.
