Meshuggah Koloss
Meshuggah The Violent Sleep of Reason
Meshuggah's most devastating and complex album to date, makes "Chaosphere" sound like easy listening. Not a single filler, even if early tracks "Born In Dissonance" and "Nostrum" are by far the weakest and less representative. "Clockworks", "Ivoy Tower", "Our Rage Won't Die Out" and the title track are destined to become all time classics. Most of the songs were written by Haake and bassist Dick Lovgren, who for the first time makes a substantial songwriting contrinution to a Meshuggah records. As a writing debut, it's nothing less than stunning
