The fact is that rCannibal is far better than Animal and, if any other artist had released this (maybe with a bit less autotune), it would probably have gotten much more praise. The lyrics are generally better than those of her contemporaries and the production is solid. That said, if you're looking for something cerebral while writing your Harvard application essay, you should probably turn away.
