| Slipknot's self-titled album is certainly for fans of the genre. Each song sounds in some way different, from Corey's great singing talent in tracks such as 'Wait and Bleed' and 'Spit It Out', to the consistently heavy and inventive drumming of 'sic'. Combine this with often good intelligent lyrics, and equally awesome melodic vocals between the shouting, and you begin to realize that Slipknot's music goes above and beyond the band's image. |
