Architects Holy Hell
The "this just sounds like their last X albums" judgement is just a lazy cliche by now. This is a
powerful, emotionally evocative modern metalcore record that rewards a close listen, and I suspect
will only get stronger the more one lives with it. As anyone would expect, this is their most
mature record. Heavy both musically and thematically, it may be their defining LP, and one of the
most important to come from the genre.

Deaf Havana Old Souls
This band maintain the high standard they set on Fools and Worthless Liars. James Veck-Gilodi's stunning voice remains the bands centerpiece and coupled with his insightful, humble and downright depressing lyrics it caps a remarkable and consistent performance by the frontman.

A more consistent, mature effort than Ground Dweller with superior production. More akin to
bands like Dead Letter Circus, I the Mighty, Conditions and even Closure In Moscow on one
track (see Fountainhead) than their post-whatevercore Rise Records label mates and contrary
to popular belief theres not a breakdown to be seen.rStandout Tracks: Weight, A Tale of
Outer Suburbia, Fountainhead, Wisteria, A Fire On A Hill.
