Less metal than the first album, more edm influences, more melodies - but it's a better album overall. Love how pedal to the metal it feels throughout and the one two punch of Bite My Tongue and Helium is crazy

After the first couple listens I thought of it as a solid album with some great songs, especially the first three are all killer no filler. Unexpectedly though, this album has so many earworm melodies that I just can't help but come back to it. In stark contrast to most post hardcore albums, it actually has longevity. Surprise of the year for me so far

There are different kinds of heavy when it comes to music. Death Metal is obviously heavy, but Manchester Orchestras "Sleeper 1972" is just as much, if not even more so. This is just like that. Heavy.

If you've never liked them / this type of metalcore with poppy choruses, you most likely won't like this as well. But if you've ever liked this type of music, you will 100% like this.
Special shoutout to the harsh vocals and the drummer, both absolutely stellar performances |

Still like Destroy rebuild a little more, but this somehow made its way back into my rotation and I like it a lot more than after my first few listens. All around fantastic melodies and very above par songwriting (if you're a sucker for well executed breakdowns like me that is). Craig even reigns in a little bit on his signature but annoying little vocal squeal at the end of a bar, hell might've frozen over.

worshipping at the altar of Deftones to the point where they're basically a cover band (Young Love is the riff from Diamond Eyes, just dumbed down a little). But the new track Empty Me Out shows some promise. Hope they find another tempo to play in though.
