| Hawthorne Heights Hope |
I didn't really like this EP when I listened to it for the first time, but it grew on me over time. It sounds more like
their last major label release - skeletons, then their earlier work, and shows progression from the "ohio is for
lovers" days. That being said, the production on both this and the Hate EP isn't top notch(the band did it
themselves), mainly the singer's voice sounds strange at times, but the songs are enjoyable, catchy, and fun to
listen to. Recommended tracks : New Winter, Chemicals, Vandemonium |

| Difficult to say this, but Hurt EP is the best Hawthorne release to day. Good mix of power pop and screaming, catchy melodies, and good production. It has the punch that Zero was missing.r |

Really enjoying this release which features Hawthorne Heights at their best with catchy pop punk melodies and
heavy-ish breakdowns/screams. Lead singer JT doesn’t sound so whiny as in some parts of Bad Frequencies
and sonically the album sounds great! Good on them to keep releasing solid music still in 2021.

Fav Moment: Never imagined hawthorne could go so metalcore with the breakdown and double guitars/riffs on
