Across the Rain Reign of Solitude
Mindblowing.

Melodic metalcore at its best. Not the cheesy pop-lyric filled alternative (Synasthasia) but the quintessential of As I Lay Dying, sugar coated with melodious riffing reminiscent of Unearth.

To those who can still enjoy (or tolerate) the 'dead' metalcore genre, this is an album worthy of your attention.

Strong rhythmic guitar, mellifluous riffs and powerful drum beats makes for a generally 'fun' metalcore album.

The naturally raspy vocalist give rise to few clean vocal lines that sound like harsh vocals. The vocals are mainly emotional (read: angry) shouts, with a good deal of pitch variety from low (almost) growls to higher pitched rasps. Can sound quite melodic especially during choruses.

Strong rhythm guitars drive the songs with compelling strums (not of the chugga-chugga affair) and frequent tremolo sweeps. Catch lead guitar melodies are scattered across songs at about the right distance apart and effectively supplement the already memorable vocal performance.

However, the album is longer than it needs to be, with filler material and poorly written songs. Personally, I believe some songs are obsolete to the better ones, decrease the overall enjoyability of the album (press the delete button for those).
Be'lakor Stone's Reach
Callenish Circle Flesh Power Dominion
Textbook approach to melodic death metal. High intensity, good melodies, fast solos.rDownside: poetically structured lyrics.
Callenish Circle My Passion Your Pain
Much better than Flesh_Power_Dominion, but still nonetheless a standard textbook approach to melodeath.rAgain the album is high on intensity, melody and raspy vocals. Forsaken is by far the band's best song.rDownside: poetically structured lyrics (full caps in lower case :D)

Medium paced melodic death metal album.

Strong vocals performance featuring deep, powerful vocals and occasional high, raspy shouts (during some chorus). Melodies are generally good and varied in tempo, with some Amon Amarth style steady notes and faster riffs.

Solid effort. Zero innovation.

Melodic death metal with symphonic presences and... trance like synthesizers.

The album sounds quite, unconventional. The harsh vocals resemble metalcore rasps rather than death metal growls. Frequent use of synthesizer can be off-putting for some.

A decent album, but its fusion of sounds may not be pleasing for some.
