Built to Spill Perfect from Now On
Kanye West My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy
Modest Mouse The Moon & Antarctica
My Bloody Valentine Loveless
Neutral Milk Hotel In the Aeroplane Over the Sea
Porcupine Tree In Absentia
Robert Wyatt Rock Bottom
One of the most intense albums i have ever heard. The lyrics and vocals are what make it instantly likeable but it really does become a progressive rock masterpiece in the second half. sudden reverse vocals and feverish piano work laden throughout, lots of hooks. Just a good album throughout, and I think Robert Wyatt is sort of an under appreciated musician

4.5 superb
Animal Collective Feels
Pavement Slanted and Enchanted
Superb. Excellent from start to finish and i mean in every way, from enigmatic lyrics with just a tinge of otherworldlyness to intentionally fuzzy production, and uncanny pop writing sensibility that make each song more catchy than the last, Slanted and Enchanted is the ultimate album by the biggest band noone has heard of. The only thing holding it back from a perfect score are some admittedly weak songs, namely chelseas little wrists and two states, but these are easily overlooked when you consider the wealth of enjoyable music to be found. Reccomended to any indie rock fan who somehow hasn't already heard it
