This is definitely a grower. I wasn't quite feeling it when I heard it the first and second time, so I landed on a 3.5. But then after a few more listens it suddenly struck me as a great album. In this case, excellent, as I'm now moving it up to a 4/5 rating.

Excellently crafted debut album from this Norwegian noise prog duo who also plays in "Skadne Krek". Wacky, intense, percussive, and effect fueled guitars, and busy rock solid drumming makes up their highly original sound which without doubt will appeal to fans of Lightning Bolt, Ruins and Hella.

People who are familiar with Sleeping People's music will definitely hear something familiar
here. It's Joileah on the axe and vocals, Marc Ysenschmid on bass, and Michel R on drums.
It's way heavier and darker than sleeping people, and I love it!

Don't understand all the negativity here. I loved it from the first track, and it never got boring. Even the "Led Zeppelin track" was good. It's a 4 that might grow
