The best thing is that this album is recorded 'live': direct to tape. So I'm sure they were in the studio (Hot Snakes' studio) recording it. However this is a great mixture of Rock & Roll, punk, "hardcore", blues, ETC. Please, give it a listen, at least on Spotify, and then you will want to buy it. Very good album.
