Fate of Uncertainty null cycles
Very rarely do we hear music anymore that aesthetically portrays the melancholy aspects of the human experience. Fate of Uncertainty does just that in a way that ventures between moments of reflection and serenity to moments of repulsion and despair. Combining piano motifs, orchestral layering, and electronic samples, it challenges our perception as to what musical ideas can effectively depict our view of our surroundings. Life is about much more than our simplistic pursuit of happiness. Null Cycles is a transcendent vision into the aspects of life of which we would not normally think or even comprehend to explore. All this to say, Fate of Uncertainty provides such rich sonic imagery with little to no text. The titles are no longer than one word, all lower case, with a period at the end. Plain and simple. This minimalist approach to text gives the listener a chance to apply their own experience to the music. I strongly recommend this album as well as this project to anyone with an open mind and a vivid imagination. I hope you are able to find a new experience in this album like I certainly did!rBrandon Salaway
