This is an instant modern classic. I haven't had this experience listening to an album for
the first time since Converge. The guitar tone is absolutely perfect. The riffs are
properly hardcore and the metallic metal embellishes are perfectly sprinkled in quite well.
This is one of my favorites of the year so far. Also, the red splash vinyl is beautiful.

Honestly, this CD gets better after every listen. Everyday I have a new favorite song and it's just really fun and interesting to listen to. One of my favorite heavy releases this year for sure.

A very good sequel. The song writing has improved and I really enjoy that they have incorporated the synth prog stuff and crazy cool jazz sections in a cohesive fashion. I'm nota big BTBAM fan but I do like Colors and I think this is even better than Colors. But, I agree with the DO NOT TRUST guy above (ha!), that even though I think this album is superb, will I come back to it much? I'm not sure. rIt's a once a year, put it on to appreciate the prog metal meets Jazs stuff like you put on a good movie sometimes but that's it. BTBAM does not hit me emotionally.

After 5 or so streams, I am beginning to really dig this. r"Mausoleal Drift" is the stand out track. The closing track could have really bumped this up to a 4.5 but it did not. rI definitely don't feel that it is too short, as someone above said; if it were too be longer they would need more doomy parts, imo, or more acoustic interlude sections. This ALMOST gets too same-y repetitive because of how much they rely on tremolo picking but I do think, overall, this is excellent. And if there is one guitar sound I like the most right now, it's tremolo picking, so I am happy to hear it constantly. rMy fav black metal from this year, however, is still Fauth - II. It just makes me FEEL more, and the production is top-notch.

This is the worst album I've ever heard. It's the fidget spinner of music. It's all embellishments. You can't hear anything. And it's designed to be like a haunted house experiment. It's just really stupid.
