The only similarity is the lead singers' voices. Both singers sound almost exactly the same. But other than that, they're completely different bands. Fall Out Boy is a punk-rock band that can easily be categorized as the average rock band. Panic! has a completely different sound.rThis album was extremely unique, especially compared to their two newer albums. The first half is futuristic, synthesizer-filled, electronic alternative rock, and the 2nd half is classy rock with organs, pianos, accordions, and many jazz elements. The lyrics are magnificent as well. Each song sounds like an intelligent poem written by a university major. I highly recommend this album. The 2nd half of the album is far better than the 1st, although the 1st has some great songs as well. The best songs on the 1st half are Camisado, Time to Dance, and Lying is the Most Fun a Girl Can Have Without Taking Her Clothes Off. (or "Lying Is The Most Fun" for short). The best songs on the 2nd half are But It's Better IfrYou Do, I Write Sins Not Tragedies, Build God Then We'll Talk, and There's a Good Reason.r@vanhalenguitar25 - Can you find a better way to ridicule the album instead of just saying "it sucks"?
