5.0 classic
Archspire All Shall Align
Some of the most intense, interesting, and technical death metal I've heard. The entire band is skilled and performs their part far above average, including the vocalist, and it all ties together for an enjoyable and "I've never heard that before" experience.

4.5 superb
Deivos Gospel Of Maggots
A brutal, technical onslaught of relentless death metal carrying some of the most interesting drum-work I've heard. There is plenty of cow bells and catchy rips and turns in the music to keep it interesting. Gospel of Maggots is an even greater improvement over their last album.
Impious Death Domination
Viraemia Viraemia
I honestly don't think that this is just wanking. Many of the songs have memorable moments,
and even in the chaos of it all it feels like there is thought behind it. I love this band.

4.0 excellent
Deivos Emanation From Below
This is the album where this band began to shine. The drummer is fast, dexterous, and
creative, and really helps carry the music a long way. Of course the catchy and powerful
guitar riffs, and the great vocals can't be ignored. A must listen for any fan of brutal
technical death metal.
