The musicianship of the album is fantastic (good guitar work, great drumming, etc.). "Leveling the Plane of Existence" successfully blends elements of old school death and modern-day death metal. The album carries a solid concept that strays from concepts commonly used by modern metal bands. Also, the sound you get from the album is what you receive from their live performance as well. Another great album by Abysmal Dawn.
