5.0 classic
Arctic Monkeys Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not
Bon Iver For Emma, Forever Ago
Took me a few listens to grasp this, but now I can see why it's rated so highly. Beautiful music.
Brand New The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me
Brand New Deja Entendu
Prefer this to The Devil And God Are Raging Inside Me, but only just.

4.5 superb
A Day To Remember For Those Who Have Heart
Hands down their best work, shame they've gone downhill since this album. They struck the perfect balance between Metalcore and Pop Punk on here and unlike most of the poppier parts on Homesick and What Seperates Me From You, the Pop Punk parts don't sound too poppy.

I wouldn't be surprised if this goes up to a 5 for me when I've listened to it a bit more. Day Of The Lords is incredible.
La Dispute Somewhere at the Bottom of the River Between Vega and Altair
La Dispute Wildlife
letlive. Fake History
An average closing track is the only reason I haven't given this a 5.
Lower Than Atlantis World Record
Been digging these guys for a while now, great songwriting on here.

Modest Mouse Good News for People Who Love Bad News

I think I'm in love with the piano loop on The World Is Yours. Don't listen to much Hip Hop, but this is fantastic.

4.0 excellent
Architects Hollow Crown
Edit: Bumped this from 4.5 to 4.rThe impact this album had on me four years ago has worn off. Still a great album for it's genre, but much of it feels like it blends into one another.rSomething I've noticed on this is that the screams are passionate, and the clean vocals are used to solid effect, much unlike their two most recent albums.

If I was just discovering it now, I would give it a 3. But it gets a 4 because of the fact it was my gateway into rock music about 5 years ago. I still listen to it now and again as well.
Lostprophets The Betrayed
Sometimes I forget how much I like this band, this album is a great return to form after an average album in Liberation Transmission. Hope they continue to go in this direction for the next album.
Mac DeMarco 2
Manchester Orchestra Simple Math
Morrissey You Are the Quarry
Mystic 100s Beyond Living
Neutral Milk Hotel In the Aeroplane Over the Sea
Nirvana Nevermind
Something In The Way, Territorial Pissings and Drain You in particular are very fine songs.
Slayer Reign In Blood
Slayer South Of Heaven
Slipknot Iowa
The Gaslight Anthem The '59 Sound
The King Blues Save the World, Get the Girl
What If Punk Never Happened is one of the best songs of recent years.
The Smiths Meat Is Murder
Throats Throats
This EP showed a lot of potential, it's a shame that they broke up. I remember seeing them last year play to about 10 people plus the supports and bar staff and they still put on a great show.
Touche Amore Parting The Sea Between Brightness And Me
Trapped Under Ice Big Kiss Goodnight
Weekend Nachos Worthless
Weezer Weezer
Your Demise Blood Stays On The Blade

3.5 great
Alex Turner Submarine OST
Basement Songs About The Weather
Biffy Clyro Only Revolutions
Brand New Fight Off Your Demons (The Demos)
It's interesting to see the blueprint behind The Devil And God Are Raging Inside me, especially comparing Sowing Season's demo to the finished version. Untitled 2 is probably one of my favourite Brand New songs at the minute, shame they haven't made more songs with that "The Smiths" vibe around it.
Bring Me The Horizon There Is a Hell, Believe Me I've Seen It...
There's a few fillers, but it's still a very good album.
Descendents Cool to Be You
Mass Nerder and Nothing With You are the shit, though the album does drag a bit like a previous sound off said. That being said, I prefer Milo Aukerman's voice on here to Milo Goes To College.
Enter Shikari A Flash Flood of Colour
I'm surprised Enter Shikari get hated on as much as they do on here. They don't deserve to be lumped with bands like The Devil Wears Prada and are far from "shit". Calling a band shit should be saved for bands who genuinely are, such as Brokencyde.rAlbum rules, though it has certain flaws in it, such as Pack Of Thieves' transition from huge chorus to electronic drop, it doesn't fit at all.

Rating change: Bumped this down from 4 to 3.5, Enter Shikari's albums as a full package seem to be very weak in the case of lasting value. Whilst the songs are good, the album just doesn't strike me enough as a whole to come and back and listen to over and over again.
Friendly Fires Pala
Funeral for a Friend Welcome Home Armageddon
Lamb of God Sacrament
Last Witness Mourning After
Limp Bizkit Gold Cobra
Maroon 5 Songs About Jane
Good relaxing background music to have on. So much better than their later songs.
Parkway Drive Deep Blue
The Blackout The Best in Town
The best release in what is otherwise, an average back catalogue from the Merthyr Tydfil rockers. They strike a perfect balance between Post Hardcore and Pop Punk to create a fun, accessible album that is worth a listen.
The Last Shadow Puppets The Age Of The Understatement
Trash Talk Eyes & Nines
TRC The Revolution Continues
Two Door Cinema Club Tourist History
Tyler, the Creator Goblin
While She Sleeps This Is the Six
Definitely one of the better bands in this genre. The only real problems on here are a lack of vocal variety (A few clean vocals in places would have gone down a treat) and the overuse of piano.
Your Demise You Only Make Us Stronger
Your Demise The Kids We Used To Be

3.0 good
A Day To Remember What Separates Me From You
Edit:

Changed the rating from 3.5 down to 3. Was listening to it the other day and I found myself clicking skip quite often. Most of the breakdowns on here are boring and muted, and some of the poppiest parts are too sickly for me to enjoy.

It's still quite good, Sticks And Bricks, Out Of Time and All I Want are some of the best songs they've written. It's not a patch on FTWHH though.
All Time Low So Wrong, It's Right
For what it is, this is a solid release. Some catchy songs and Gaskarth can sing quite well. But I'm not really into this type of music and some of the songs just sound too similar. Overall, this is a decent album which displays potential that sadly got wasted on the next two albums.
Bring Me The Horizon Suicide Season
Bury Tomorrow Portraits
They know their strength, which as everyone has said before, is clean vocalist Jason Cameron. Musicanship is generic but decent and the screamer's range is solid. The whole album just feels "decent" and nothing more. If they were a bit more brave with their songwriting, Bury Tomorrow have the potential to be a brilliant band.
Ed Sheeran Loose Change
Lostprophets Liberation Transmission
Has some decent moments on it, but is too much on the poppy side.
Lower Than Atlantis Changing Tune
I'm quite disappointed with this. It's a decent album, but lacks the personality of World Record.
Pure Love Anthems
Set Your Goals This Will Be the Death of Us
The Devil Wears Prada Zombie
Much improved from the studio albums. Hope to see them continuing in a direction like this for the new album.
The King Blues Punk & Poetry
Whilst this contains some of the best tracks of the bands career (5 Bottles Of Shampoo and Headbutt), it contains a lot of boring filler (Everything Happens For A Reason for example). Much unlike Save The World Get The Girl, this album doesn't have much in the way of lasting value.
The Strokes Angles
I do like this, but it hasn't stuck with me the same way Is This It and Room On Fire did.
TRC Bright Lights
Not as good as I thought it would be. Define Cocky, Blame It On Vegas and Go Hard Or Go Home are brilliant though.
Trivium Ascendancy
Vampire Weekend Vampire Weekend
You Me At Six Sinners Never Sleep
They show a lot of potential on here, their musicianship has improved and Josh Franchesci is getting better as a vocalist. Still feels like they haven't fully shaked off the Pop Punk tag, will be interesting to see where they go from here.

2.5 average
A Day To Remember Homesick
Asher Roth Asleep In The Bread Aisle
It's nothing too bad or nothing too great. He has a decent flow and the instrumentations competent. Nothing I'd rush back to listen to though, okay for a casual listen on the bus or train now and again.
Deez Nuts Stay True
Gallows (UK) Death Is Birth
It's just not the same without Frank. Mondo Chaos has such bad lyrics.
Hard-Fi Once Upon A Time In The West
Heart in Hand Only Memories
Simple Plan Simple Plan
The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus Don't You Fake It
Loved this back when I was 14/15. Still think it's okay, a lot better than their newer stuff, which is awful.
The Vaccines What Did You Expect From The Vaccines?

2.0 poor
Aiden Conviction
Architects Daybreaker
Far too many melodic/clean singing sections put in for the sake of it here. Whilst it is slightly better than The Here And Now, it's still a poor album. Won't bother listening to their next release if there is one, they've lost their touch from the first three albums.
Architects The Here and Now
Very disappointing, considering how good Hollow Crown was. I'm all for change in a band, but not when it's as bland and uninspiring as this.
blink-182 Neighborhoods
Ceremony (USA-CA) Zoo
Emmure Speaker Of The Dead
This is an improvement on their other work. They surprisingly pulled off the electronic elements well, and Demons With Ryu, Children Of Cybertron (For an intro track, it's alright) and Solar Flare Homicide are decent.rOtherwise, everything about this album is horrible. Too many breakdowns, awful lyrics, awful songwriting and below average musicianship.
Terror Keepers of the Faith

1.5 very poor
Bruno Mars Doo-Wops & Hooligans
Edit:

I actually thought this guy had potential, as he has a half decent voice and I liked that he was doing something a little different in mainstream pop. Took the time to listen to this, and my opinion rapidly changed on him.

He has no variation in his vocals at all, every song sounds very similar and as for the lyrics? Hands down, he is the worst lyricist around today. Also, having to hear "Grenade" and "The Lazy Song" pretty much every time I have to listen to the radio makes me want to rip my ears off.

Tyler, The Creator, you know what to do.
Bullet For My Valentine Fever
If Begging For Mercy wasn't on this, this would easily be a 1.
Linkin Park A Thousand Suns
Your Demise The Golden Age
It kind of says something when the best part about this album is from a guest star (Jason from Letlive). Ed is a really bad singer and the clean vocal parts are overused, whilst the few used on The Kids We Used To Be actually fitted with the songs they were used in. Away from the vocals, the instrumentation is generally poor and reminds me of either rehashed versions of their old stuff (See Born A Snake, then listen to Scared Of The Light off TKWUTB) or poor versions of other bands (Paper Trails sounds like a Blink-182 Enema Of The State early stages reject). Also, Never A Dull Moment is so awful.

1.0 awful
