| While not reaching the heights of its predecessors, this record maintains its focus on a retro-futuristic, Blade Runner inspired story of sentient AI breaking out of its technological restraints to explore humanity, not finding what it expected. The band explores a more synth-driven sound, with really only a couple of minor missteps. Obviously, the theme is right up my alley, and I am digging the music. As usual, Slayes is in top form here. |

| Hitting this with a 4.5 for now, simply because it is such a vast improvement over almost everything they have done since Promised Land. I did like the 2013 release, but it was short, and the band sort of played it safe there, so that got rated a tick lower, even though it was also a big improvement. |

| An odd blend of oh...Amorphis, Alice in Chains, and Woods of Ypres. Works for the most part, but I am curious to see what they can put out with a bit more writing experience under their collective belt, as there are some dips in quality here and there. Kings of Null slays, though. |
