As black metal it can hardly be beat, be what differed it as a five for me is that the aggression in black metal that i like so much seems to be replaced by synthesizers and melancholy guitar work. But this can be very refreshing in most cases, and I respect this much so. The only problem is that the whole album seem to have little variation from the same melancholy stuff, but this hardly replaces the love I have for this cd. It is good atmospheric music, so playing Chrono Trigger or other rpgs would kick some serious butt.
