Turilli / Lione Rhapsody Zero Gravity (Rebirth and Evolution)
Low expectations and a big surprise. Luca Turilli has been able to achieve what he had been seeking for since his departure from Rhapsody of Fire, it took two Albums with Conti before re-uniting the classic Rhapsody line-up to finally come up with this wonderful album.

Stratovarius Elements Pt.1

2.5 average
Avantasia The Metal Opera Pt. II
Edguy Rocket Ride
In Flames Sounds of a Playground Fading
It's a good successor for The Mirror's Truth (the sound is quite the same), the absence of the old mastermind is barely noticable which is good, and it's a great album from the first listening, but to me accepting that belongs to the post Calyman era, I still prefere Reroute to Remain, so to say. Good album overall.
Kamelot Poetry for the Poisoned
Kamelot Ghost Opera
Stratovarius Elements Pt.2

2.0 poor
Arcade Fire Everything Now
Edguy Tinnitus Sanctus
Rhapsody of Fire From Chaos to Eternity
Rhapsody's new long play does not add anything new to an already worn message that sounds empty. Recurrence in the lyrics from the last two albums "The Frozen Tears of Angels" and "The Cold Embrace of Fear" echo in the abuse of "Black Metalish screams", and passages in Italian that have lost the surprising element. There is no single hit in the album and the epicness of the choruses shines for its absence. Rhapsody has been my favorite band for ten years from now and this new album is definetively the worst of their discography, by far. The ending of the second saga deceives. Time for a change.
Rhapsody of Fire Triumph Or Agony

1.5 very poor
Pink Floyd The Final Cut

1.0 awful
Stratovarius Stratovarius
