The album lost points for me due to the lack of any really emotional ballads that covered My Beautiful Dark Fantasy. But its also nice to see a rap album that is not like 17 tracks long and over 75 mins. I feel like it will really grow on me with more listens and eventually move rup my score. I do have to say it does seem rather tame compared to other odd future albums, but still has that rgreat energy. Then in preparation for this album I went back to listen to Teargarden by Kaleidyscope (which is absolutely terrible). So I was not that excited. So I went to iTunes today and I saw an add for Oceania, so I gave it a listen. Im not going to say its the a perfect album, but I really enjoyed the album. There are maybe two songs I don?t care for which is a vast improvement from Zietgist. Where I found myself only liking two songs. The only complaint I have with this album really is the production. It just seemed really off in some parts. My favorite aspect of this album would have to be when it seems every other instrument stops and its just Billy and his guitar. I just love it when that happens throughout the album.
