Love seeing a band that makes smart use of their influences as a vehicle to introduce listeners to just how fucking technically proficient and solid their songwriting/playing truly is. The atmosphere that bathes this album is addictive.

One of the greatest EP's recent independent hardcore has offered us.rEach song is mixed with dark, progressive and ambient themes with the soaring and brutal screams and shredding guitars that add a very rhythmic quality with the drums.rNo generic breakdowns or anything. The lyrics could use a little more work, but I'm not going to be too nitpicky about them, seeing as the emotion still got through to me.rVery much recommended.

Design the Skyline Nevaeh
Everyone hates this band, honestly. But some of the hate isn't deserved, because Design The
Skyline HAS improved marginally. Everything up until Cybernetic Strawflower pretty much
blows. Strawflower contains a great solo, and the vocals actually fit. So that was a nice
surprise.rThe standout tracks were definitely Reverie and Neveah. Why? Because they were
instrumental. The vocalists are terrible and they either need to be fired or trained
thoroughly before they drag down an actually good team of musician.rThat's just my honest
review of things.

Envy The Glitch Envy The Glitch
I just found these guys, they're apparently a self proclaimed "Indie-Progressive-Deathcore"
band but they sound way more grind...mixed with post-rock intros and absolutely shrilling
vocals, both clean and screamed, and not in the good way. I honestly think they may be the
most hilarious band to hit in a long time. Most of their songs don't run any more than 2
minutes, and they almost always erupt into noise at the end with some really...um
"interesting" leads. If you're looking for a laugh...http://envytheglitch.bandcamp.com/
