3 (USA) The Ghost You Gave To Me |
Just listened to the stream all the way through today... I gotta say, it's 3's magnum opus. This album is fantastic, enormous, emotional, and much more. It's for sure on my top 10 of 2011. |

Coheed and Cambria The Afterman: Descension |
If you're a fan of Coheed, this album is absolute perfection. If you're not, well, it should
still sound pretty damn close to perfection. As the others on this page have mentioned,
Ascension was a safe, yet catchy and fun record. This one is all over the fucking place, yet
it still remains unbelievably infectious and fun. From the heavier-than-hell B standard
riffs of Sentry to the poppy, Police-inspired vibes of Number City, this record will
constantly keep you coming back for more with its undeniable twists and turns. While we're
at it with the praise, Gravity's Union is a surefire contender for one of the best songs of
2013 and is surely among the best songs the band has ever written. "Caged, locked in
perpetual motion; carving our wounds wide open." |
