Mario Go!
Definitely the most solid release from Mario yet, offers a lot more from the young artist and displays a lot of musical growth in him. None of the hits reach the same level as those in Turning Point, but there are more of them and the overall album is more satisfying as a whole.
Mario Turning Point
Now, when most people think of this album they think of 'Let Me Love You' which made a huge splash on the charts in '04. For the most part this album offers little else in the way of a hit. Mario is a good singer, there are moments where he hits the notes in a way that I've never heard from any other R&B artist on the market and possibly all time. Sadly, Mario's range is largely underutilized through this album and it mostly offers only a few hits. That said the filler is listenable and the hits more than make up for it. 'How Could You' is easily a standout track along with 'Let Me Love You.' At the end of the day this album is more filler than thriller but its thrills deliver for R&B fans.
