| There is nothing wrong with the album on its own, but I feel it doesn't hold a candle to A New Hope. It is heavy in a way that is unique to the genre, and the breakdowns have a fast punk/hardcore feel to them. I'm not sure if they were going for a more raw sound, but the whole album lacks the polished sound of A New Hope.rThe clean vocals are few and far between on this one, and when the are present, the melodies just aren't nearly as catchy as before. The end result is the album sounding a lot like Curses, albeit with a "Trashmouth" theme to the majority of the songs. If A New Hope was a step forward, this album is a step back. rWith that said, there are plenty of little details to notice with each successive listen |
