5.0 classic
Fleet Foxes Helplessness Blues
Radiohead In Rainbows
The Chariot One Wing
The Killers Hot Fuss
The Reign of Kindo Rhythm, Chord & Melody
An absolutely phenomenal display of talent from every single person involved in this band. The songs are complex and roll out in a beautiful way. Every emotion is reached and felt. Probably one of the best albums I've ever listened to.
The xx xx
Bumping this up to a 5 from a 4.5, because now that I think about it, I find almost nothing wrong with this album.
The xx Coexist
Fucking classic, 5/5. I have a feeling this album will be on my iPod for the many years to come. Everything was done so well, I can barely speak about it.

4.5 superb
Audioslave Out of Exile
Bon Iver For Emma, Forever Ago
Come on, Bon Iver, just last the year......God I love this album
Hands Like Houses Ground Dweller
Such a beautiful display of nearly every component of the band. A well flowing album with an immense amount of talent being put to use in all the right places. Good lyrical content, which thankfully doesn't tackle the same virtual subject over and over again. The only thing, in my opinion, that saves this from a 5 is really the production.rI am so fucking sick of Cameron Mizell.
Japandroids Celebration Rock
M83 Hurry Up, We're Dreaming
Memphis May Fire Challenger
The Weeknd Thursday
Two Door Cinema Club Beacon
It's like Tourist History but with a bigger difference in each individual song. Tourist History was a great album, but every song sounded similar to at least a few songs on the album. Beacon is a lot different in a sense of each song having its own identity. Also, Handshake is an absolutely brilliant piece of music. Best song on the album by far.
Underoath Ø (Disambiguation)

4.0 excellent
A Loss For Words No Sanctuary
A Silent Film The City That Sleeps
Allen Stone Allen Stone
Allen Stone is so talented it hurts. His soulful, sway-inducing R&B is to die for. Range is no problem either for him.
Arcade Fire The Suburbs
Audioslave Revelations
Band of Skulls Sweet Sour
Freaking excellent album! So surprised these guys haven't gotten as much praise. Every song is built full of clear cut choices, and 80% of the time, every choice is a good choice. The low energy songs like "Hometown" or "Lay My Head Down" are actually the strongest songs on the album, each bit of blues bleeding in slowly to build wonderfully to the finish. Some of the high energy songs like "Lies" don't deliver as much to the album as a whole.
Coldplay Parachutes
Coldplay at their rawest; Coldplay at their best. Love this album.
Foals Holy Fire
Friendly Fires Pala
Standout tracks are "Live Those Days Tonight" and "Pala". Great album. Might review it for a first review.
Givers In Light
Gotye Making Mirrors
The individual songs are excellent, but it lacks a proper flow in the 2nd half of the album. A really interesting display of vocal talent from Debacker, him sounding totally different in nearly every song. Great production, depth, and lyrical content (ahem, Somebody I Used To Know), but still, no common flow, in my opinion.
Grizzly Bear Veckatimest
Grouplove Never Trust A Happy Song
I the Mighty Karma Never Sleeps
Incubus (USA-CA) Light Grenades
Jethro Tull Thick as a Brick
These two songs tell a better story than any other ballad I've ever heard. Every mood and ambition is set. It's wonderful. Sadly, the end of the first song bothers me way to much to 5 this
Kurt Vile Smoke Ring For My Halo
Mount Eerie Clear Moon
Muse Origin of Symmetry
I'm not only 4ing this because it is an excellent album filled with epic songs, but I'm also 4ing this because it has literally the best 'Feeling Good' cover I've ever heard
Panic! at the Disco A Fever You Can't Sweat Out
Parkway Drive Deep Blue
Phoenix (FRA) Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix
Pierce the Veil Collide with the Sky
Shearwater Animal Joy
Surfer Blood Astro Coast
The Dillinger Escape Plan One of Us Is the Killer
The Dodos Visiter
The Walkmen Heaven
Veil of Maya Eclipse
I rarely listen to deathcore; the dissonant chords are too droning for me, the vocals are usually too harsh and too messy, and I've yet to find a brilliantly produced deathcore album. I don't even know if Veil of Maya is considered deathcore, but this album says everything good about the genre. Beautiful transitions, drumming, guitar work, and an incredibly fun and experimental album. Diggin' it.
Washed Out Within and Without

3.5 great
Moving Mountains Waves
Neon Trees Habits
Neon Trees Picture Show
Neon Trees try as hard as possible to not have the label of a one hit wonder. With an
extremely more focused album moving slightly away from their home of pop rock, Neon Trees
venture into various topics involving fame, hollywood, rock and roll, and as always, love.
Tremendous vocals, catchy songwriting; all of these things included in their debut, but this
time poured into Neon Trees' "Picture Show."
The Devil Wears Prada With Roots Above and Branches Below

3.0 good
Attack Attack! This Means War
Daytrader Twelve Years
Enter Shikari Common Dreads
Like Moths to Flames When We Don't Exist
Metric Synthetica
Album definitely has its ups and downs. From start to finish it is simply a Metric album, and that's all it tends to be. I enjoyed it because of the solid and catchy guitar lines as well as the effective but minor use of thick synthesizers, but aside from that, singer Emily Haines is boring and stays on one level (until Lost Kitten, where she rocks it). Instrumentation isn't too noteworthy, and the songwriting is, well, decent.
The Black Keys El Camino
A good album in all fairness. I'm a sucker for blues rock, I'll admit, but as catchy as it is, the album lacks that common feeling you get after listening to a fantastic album. Literally, the only feeling I felt after Mind Eraser finished was one that told me "You just listened to a Black Keys album. Yeah. That was okay."
The Ghost Inside Returners
The Tallest Man on Earth There's No Leaving Now

2.5 average
Every Time I Die Ex Lives
Kasabian Velociraptor!
Miss May I At Heart
The Vaccines What Did You Expect From The Vaccines?
The Word Alive Life Cycles
Various Artists (Punk) Punk Goes Pop 5
It's significantly better than the last one, but it still sucksrBUT SO MUCH PROPS TO THE WORD ALIVE FOR SLAYING MERCY
We Are Scientists Barbara

2.0 poor
Drake Take Care
I See Stars Digital Renegade
This Time Next Year Drop Out Of Life

1.5 very poor
Hot Chip In Our Heads
Honestly, I simply cannot connect to this band. Every little minor change in sound on every song just sounds like a bad choice. With the exception of the excellent first two songs, every song feels out of place and disconnected from the rest of the album. Too many failed experiments, and it rubs off too thickly.
I Set My Friends On Fire You Can't Spell Slaughter Without Laughter
That's Outrageous! Teenage Scream
