It's been 6 months now that I listen to this album everyday and can't get tired of it.rIt has pop melodies, has virtuoso guitar work, and has great sound mixing. Lyrics are great too, and the concept of the album is about a musician who was depressed, and after taking medicine he can't write songs anymore. So he back to the "madness" because of the music. Bumblefoot said it on an interview and said it to be autobiographical.rThe first track is epic, and Shadow is beautiful.rVersatility through the album, mixing various styles.Dire Straits Dire StraitsEric Johnson Ah Via MusicomExtreme Waiting For The PunchlineExtreme III Sides To Every StoryGreen Day InsomniacGreen Day American IdiotGuns N' Roses Use Your Illusion IJoe Satriani Flying In A Blue DreamJoe Satriani Joe SatrianiLenny Kravitz Are You Gonna Go My WayLenny Kravitz 5Lenny Kravitz It Is Time For A Love RevolutionLiving Colour VividMegadeth Rust In PeaceMourning Widows Mourning WidowsMr. Big Lean Into ItMr. Big Hey ManNuno Bettencourt SchizophonicPaul Gilbert Burning OrganThis album is the pop+shred masterpiece.rNice guitar work and even nicier sound quality.rPaul Gilbert took his Laney amp to the bathroom and cranked it up to record this album. The guitar tone is killer, really metal tone.rIf you like this, listen to Nuno Bettencourt and Bumblefoot too.Philip Sayce Peace MachinePrimus Sailing the Seas of CheeseRacer X Technical DifficultiesRage Against the Machine Rage Against the MachineRage Against the Machine The Battle of Los AngelesRed Hot Chili Peppers Blood Sugar Sex MagikSoundgarden SuperunknownSoundgarden BadmotorfingerSoundgarden Down on the UpsideSteve Vai Passion and WarfareSteve Vai Fire GardenStone Temple Pilots PurpleSystem of a Down MezmerizeVan Halen 1984Van Halen II4.5 superbBad Religion The Empire Strikes FirstBad Religion Stranger Than FictionBuckethead Shadows Between The SkyBuckethead Albino SlugChickenfoot ChickenfootCream Live At The Royal Albert HallDavid Lee Roth Eat 'Em And SmileGlenn Hughes Soul MoverIt's a grower, it doesn't impress at first listen but gets better with time.rIt's like a mix between Deep Purple, Audioslave and Richie Kotzen styles of music.rSpecial mention to JJ Marsh playing guitar on most tracks.rBest tracks for me: "She Moves Ghostly", "Last Mistake" and "Dark Star".Glenn Hughes Music for the DivineIt's in the same vain of "Soul Mover": hard rock riffs, emotional singing and superb guitar solos.Glenn Hughes First Underground Nuclear KitchenMetallica Kill 'Em AllPaul Gilbert Space Ship OnePaul Gilbert Alligator FarmHere we have a young and full-of-energy Paul Gilbert that may we not see ever again. Soulful guitar playing here. His voice is awesome too, Chris-Cornellish drive.rEvery songs are great with exception of Chase It which I don't like that style of music, sort of romantic ballad.Supergrass In It for the MoneySystem of a Down HypnotizeThe Raconteurs Broken Boy Soldiers4.0 excellentBad Religion The Process of BeliefBlack Tide Light From AboveBuckethead Crime Slunk SceneBumblefoot AbnormalI didn't like this as I liked Normal. The song "Simple Days" got me into Bumblefoot's work and the album is great. The most disappointing PG album for me, the only one that did not keep me listening for months.
