Sure there's some interesting sounds and textures, but the song writing is pretty lazy. Case in point--the penultiamte song is just several minutes of the same short guitar piece being played over and over. Oh I know what people will say: "it's like, about the atmosphere, man" well that may be, but 4 minutes of droning to ME is just incredibly boring. And I gotta say, 21 years of work went into this album and THAT is the album artwork you choose?
