I disagree with both, neither does Fallen bring out any unfamiliar feeling, nor does it lack the typical "primitive" Burzum production. With chaotic/slow/Doom-ish passages on tracks like 'Enhver til Sitt', or completely vicious(in contrary to typical Burzum) and unexcpectedly fast riffs on 'Vanvidd',Fallen is a release that no Black Metal fan should miss listening to. I'd also like to note a couple more things. I am a big fan of Burzum and i have to admit that i was not sure wether i liked this new release or not, though it only took me once to go through the album again and i was convinced. With an outro that induces complete claustrophobia, the package is complete. 4/5 is well deserved here.
